This boutique hotel has been one of the office's most experimental projects. The owners of a museum with the largest collection of art from the Cusco School decided to join forces with Hilton and create a hotel in the bohemian neighborhood of Barranco in Lima. The concept was born from the neighborhood, the cultural mix of the Cusco School and the art of the museum. From that point of view, references from the old houses of Barranco were sought, mixing architectural elements and seeking contrast between the architecture and the interior. We developed a restaurant that would have an impact at street level.

In the rooms we started from a painting of an Archangel from the museum's collection which we intentionally pixelated to bring out our palette of materials and the textures of the rooms. That led us to have contrasting colors and textures, we sought to generate contrast and brought traditional elements from Barranco and rethought them as dividers. The rooms have an eclectic and fresh atmosphere.
